Sara Flores
Sara is 27 years old. Despite her young age, she has lengthy experience making craftwork, since she started to learn and be close to the family tradition at the age of 5.
She is from Sierra Sur de San Cristobal Amatlán, a town located 47 miles from Oaxaca City, where she inherited her taste for weaving the palm leaves and began to develop her great creativity.
You can feel Sara’s hunger for growth. Although she mainly makes products with palm leaves, she also experiments with other materials, creating new shapes and crafts that are rarely seen in the region of Oaxaca. She likes to innovate and create new designs, something that characterizes every detail of the products she makes.
