The tradition and beauty of Oaxaca are embodied in each and every one of the products that the artisans manufacture. Candle making, rugs, and pottery are only a few examples of the Oaxacan products you will spot at local markets or “tianguis”.

You must know that in Azul Mejicano we pride ourselves on selling 100% artisanal products, made by Oaxacan women that master the palm weaving technique because it has been in their families for generations. This process is very meticulous and it takes time since artisans must cut the palms directly from the wild, select them, dry them, boil them, and braid them. So when you wear one of our bags, what you are really wearing is the legacy, time, and love of Oaxacan artisans.
